Charles Bradley, Harbormaster of the Town of Marion, MA, sent us his lighthouse patch, which features their historic Bird Island Lighthouse. When the town was designing the patch they considered several different options, the town seal, etc. Then they thought, “What welcomes boaters from all over the world to our harbor?” The answer was Bird Island Lighthouse. They felt this was a fitting symbol and best represents their marine department.
