This lighthouse was originally erected on Mana Island near Cook Strait; it was moved to Cape Egmont in 1877. Tower Height: 66 Height of Focal Plane: 108 Characteristic and Range: Three white flashes every 30 seconds, visible for 22 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White, conical, cast iron tower.
