The active lighthouse is maintained by the Northern Lighthouse Board. Self-catering accommodation is available in two keepers' cottages. Tower Height: 72 Height of Focal Plane: 114 Characteristic and Range: White flash every 20 seconds; range 18 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White conical stone tower with buff trim and black lantern.
