The keeper's dwelling at this lighthouse has been the residence of the 14th Coast Guard District commander since the 1940s. The lantern on the present tower came from the previous (1899) tower. Tower Height: 57 Height of Focal Plane: 147 Description of Tower: White square concrete tower, lantern dome is red.
