The round tower built here in 1886 was apparently raised in height (53 feet to 62 feet) and encased in an octagonal concrete shell, probably after WWII. We'd like to get more information on this. Tower Height: 62 Height of Focal Plane: 66 Characteristic and Range: Two white flashes every 15 seconds. Description of Tower: Unpainted (dark red) octagonal stone tower, red lantern.
