Notes:
Gabo Island is is the breeding ground for the largest colony of "Little" penguins in the world. The lighthouse is still maintained by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. Tower Height: 156 Height of Focal Plane: 180 Characteristic and Range: 3 white flashes every 20 seconds, range 16 nautical miles. Description of Tower: Conical red granite tower.
