Notes: This tower was originally intended to serve as part of a military defense line during World War I. After the war it was decided to convert it to a lighthouse, replacing the Nab Lightship, which had been in position since 1887. Tower Height: 89 Height of Focal Plane: 89 Characteristic and Range: White flash every 10 seconds. Description of Tower: Steel tower on concrete base, topped by helipad.
