Notes: This lighthouse was saved from destruction by the Five Islands Lighthouse Preservation Society, and it is now open for tours in summer. In 1996 it was moved from its eroding base to an adjacent campground. Description of Tower: White, square pyramidal wooden tower with red trim.

Directions: On Route 2 (Glooscap Trail) at the west end of the village of Five Islands turn onto Wharf Road. Enter Sand Point Campground and keep left through the gate to the lighthouse. The lighthouse is open in July and August, Thursday through Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. At other times, the lighthouse may be viewed during daylight hours. Admission is by donation.
