Robert Jefferson Fine (1863-1934) has the distinction of having been a lighthouse keeper at two very similarly styled lighthouses in Florida, both of which no longer stand.
Robert J. Fine was the head keeper at the Rebecca Shoal Lighthouse from 1890 to 1893. Then for some reason he traded places with lighthouse keeper John Watkins of the Charlotte Harbor Lighthouse. Fine went to the Rebecca Shoal Lighthouse and Watkins went to the Charlotte Harbor Lighthouse.
Robert J. Fine stayed at the Charlotte Harbor Lighthouse until 1896 when he transferred to another lighthouse, but in 1899 he was back at Charlotte Harbor Lighthouse where he stayed until 1913.
