Because very few people have ever visited Baker’s Island Lighthouse and most will never be able to, and because even more people have never seen photographs of the people who were stationed and lived at Baker’s Island Lighthouse, we are sharing with you a sampling of the many historic images of this light station that we have in our files. We at Lighthouse Digest are proud of the many historic photographs that we have accumulated over the years, especially of lesser known lighthouses and the images of the people who lived at them, that have now been saved for future generations. We believe in the old saying that a photograph truly is worth a thousand words. As you look at these photos, let your mind drift in time and imagine what life was like at this idyllic island light station.
