This unique hot air balloon named “Flighthouse” is owned by Barry and Teri DiLibero who have stated that it is a tribute to the American lighthouse. The hot air balloon enthusiasts also own a number of other balloons, all of which have a red, white, and blue theme, among them; “American One” a large flag-shape balloon and one that looks like the Space Shuttle named “Patriot.” The body of “Flighthouse,” was designed in shape after Concord and Turkey Point Lighthouses in Maryland and the stripes were slightly taken from the appearance of White Shoals Lighthouse in Michigan.
