We’ve often said that old post cards all have a story to tell, from the memories and stories that were hand written by someone from the past, to the many different designs on the face of the cards. Many have old and sometimes rare postage stamps and postal cancellations, which are also worth looking at. While there are many old postcards that are common, many others are extremely rare. Postcards are extremely collectible and it's never too late to start collecting. Plus it's a wonderful way to learn about lighthouses. Many postcards exchange hands on E-bay and other auction sites everyday as well as at post card shows around the country. We are again sharing a couple of rare cards in this issue of Lighthouse Digest.
