I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for letting Lighthouse Digest come into your home, office or library. This month’s issue is packed with a variety of educational, historical and interesting stories that in one way or another help in drawing attention to why it is important to work toward saving and maintaining our lighthouses and their history.
We hope you enjoy this issue and think about what life must have been like in the days before modern technology which made so many things about the lighthouse era obsolete. Perhaps you have a friend that might enjoy reading this issue, and we hope you might consider passing your copy on to friends and co-workers. Or maybe, you might surprise someone you know with a gift subscription. Whatever you choose to do, do it, knowing that you have done a little something to save lighthouses and their history. For that, we at Lighthouse Digest, sincerely thank you.
In the meantime, we’ll continue to do our best to make each and every issue informative and entertaining while reporting the lighthouses stories of yesteryear and today.
