The names included the men who lost their lives on the Vineyard Lightship, sunk in the hurricane of 1944; the Nantucket Shoals Lightship which sunk in 1934, when it was hit by the Olympic, the sister ship to the Titanic, and for the crewmen who lost their lives on the Cross Rip Lightship Back to the edition of: November 1999
