This image shows the entire restored Race Point Light Station. The station was once considered for demolition and was considered by many to be too far gone to ever be restored and saved. They were wrong. Thanks to the volunteers of the Cape Cod Chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation and others, the lighthouse is now restored, open for overnight stays and is the first lighthouse in the nation to totally generate its own power through wind and sun.
