This image from July, 1914, shows the original Windward Point Lighthouse keeper’s house. Notice the water storage tank next to the house. Barely visible next to the water tank is a horse- drawn wagon. The other building shown on the left of the photograph was obviously also a residence, perhaps for an assistant lighthouse keeper. Next to this house is a large water storage tank. If you look closely, you will see the roof gutters that go to downspouts that empty into the water tank.
