The lighthouse on the beginning day of the move. Look closely. A November 1998 landslide left the lighthouse less than nine feet from the edge of the cliff. When the slide began the Roberts ran from the lighthouse fearing for their lives. "There was so much dust in the air that we could not see if Belle Tout was still standing. When it cleared, we discovered that we had escaped narrowly."
