Lauren and Paula Liebrecht with Jim Dunlap admiring parts of the glass prisms of the originals lens. The lens will not be complete when reassembled since many of the parts are missing. “This lens suffered from abuse, neglect and the ravages of souvenir hunters,” said Kevin Duffus. He went on to say, “No one will come here to admire the lens for its beauty; they'll admire it for its history.” James Woodward added, “and that's what they're going to see . . . they're going to see what happens to a lens when people totally abuse it.”
