A group of Owls Head keepers and descendants of keepers gathered for a cake cutting ceremony in honor of the 150th anniversary of the keeper's house on June 20, 2004. From left to right: Ed Dodge, a Coast Guard relief keeper at Owls Head and several other lighthouse in the early 1960s; Dan Elliott, a Coast Guard relief keeper in 1954; Jason Masters, a descendant of 19th century keeper William Masters; Carol Brown, a descendant of late 19th century keeper Joseph Maddocks; Marla Rogers, a descendant of mid-20th century keeper Archford Haskins; and Barbara St. Clair, daughter of Keeper George Woodward, who was at Owls Head in the mid-1940s.
