Peases Island Lighthouse, a/k/a Pease Island Lighthouse, as it appeared on May 5, 1933. The island is located off the west shore of Nova Scotia in the Tusket Islands. For an amazing 30 years, the Surette family lived in this structure that had been built in 1879. It no longer stands. (Canadian Coast Guard photo, courtesy Chris Mills.)
