Lighthouse Digest editor Tim Harrison was on hand for the 11th Annual West Quoddy Open House where he presented the West Quoddy Head Light Keepers Association (WQHLKA) with a painting done by Illinois artist Jim McCormick to resemble the September 22, 1945 edition of the Saturday Evening Post. This story was reported in the March/April 2015 edition of Lighthouse Digest and was a story titled “A Tale of Two Paintings,” which had been donated by Mr. McCormick. Accepting the painting on behalf of the WQHLKA was Margaret Curley-Clay who is president of the group. Back to the edition of: Sep/Oct 2015
