This photograph shows when the 3rd order Fresnel lens was still in the lantern of Whitehead Lighthouse. It was removed sometime after 1982 when the lighthouse was automated. The lens is now in the possession of the Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland, Maine. Today, the lighthouse is owned by the Pine Island Camp.
