The keepers of the Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse once lived in this government owned duplex located at 116 North 5th Street in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The building no longer stands. Behind the keeper’s house is a building that was part of the Smalley Manufacturing complex, which is also gone. (1914 photograph courtesy United States Coast Guard.)
