The reviewing-stand float when Shirley Robinson was the Grand Marshall at a parade in Lake Havasu, Arizona. The float featured Michigan’s White Shoal Lighthouse. The sign read “Shirley Robinson – Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter – Mt. Desert Rock Lighthouse – From 1928-1936.” Lake Havasu is known for its large number of replicas of real lighthouses.
