Galloo Island Lighthouse as it appeared in the 1970s when the white keeper’s house to the left was still standing. In the autumn of 2000, the light station was sold by the federal government at auction to Cara and Anthony Dibnah of Vallejo, California. (Reportedly, the sale did not include the old fog signal building or the former oil house.) (Warren and Doris Leifer collection, Lighthouse Digest archives.)
