Florida Lighthouse Association president Stan Farnham in his keeper’s uniform along with Ken Smith at the Gasparilla Island Lighthouse during the recent quarterly meeting of the Florida Lighthouse Association. The bylaws of the Florida Lighthouse Association limit the president of the group to two terms of two years. However, Farnham will have served nearly five years because he assumed the presidency of the group upon the passing of the group’s previous president Gene Oakes. At this year’s upcoming October meeting, Ken Smith will move up to become president of the Florida Lighthouse Association.
