The 3rd order Barbier, Benard & Turenne lens as it appeared when it was in the lantern at the Cape Hinchinbrook Lighthouse. The lens was removed from the tower in the late 1960s and given to the State of Alaska, and it is now on display at the Valdez Museum in Valdez, Alaska. (U.S. Lighthouse Society archives photo.)
