The gravestone of Medal of Honor recipient and lighthouse keeper Willard D. Miller at Arlington National Cemetery is among the 400,000 military personnel buried there. It is located in Section 46, Lot 15. It was incorrectly engraved with COM, when it should have been engraved CQM, which stands for his last rank of Quartermaster in the U.S. Navy. Unfortunately, there is no indicationon the gravestone that he ever served as a lighthouse keeper in the U.S. Lighthouse Service. Back to the edition of: May/Jun 2018
