Photo Caption:
The Racine North Breakwater Lighthouse in Racine, Wisconsin as it appeared on an old post card. Sadly, the community of Racine has lost two of the most unusual and beautiful lighthouses structures to have stood on the Great Lakes. The ‘pagoda style’ lighthouse shown here, along with the magnificent Racine Reef Lighthouse featured in our January issue, have both been lost to the pages of time. Back to the edition of: July 2010
