Sandgerði Lighthouse The Sandgerði Lighthouse was built in 1916 but raised in height in 1945. The 62 foot square tower is attached to the end of a large warehouse building that has the one side painted in colorful local images.The yellow tower has an inverted triangle day mark on it.
