“National Lighthouse” was a tall red and white striped lighthouse with an outside ladder for the keeper to reach the lantern. The outside ladder must have been included for conversation, because, with inside stairs, an outside ladder would be redundant. As well as including a keeper’s house, it also included a life guard on duty. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2017
