This issue’s cover of the 1842 Newport Harbor Lighthouse on Goat Island in Newport Harbor, Rhode Island was taken by Sheryl Tichy. The keeper’s house and other service buildings at this site were demolished many years ago. Because of its location the lighthouse and the bridge often serve as the backdrop for weddings.
