$8,716 was awarded to the Keweenaw Land Trust for the Manitou Island Lighthouse. The grant money will be used to help pay for materials to stabilize the historic dock, clearing a foot trail between the dock and the lighthouse and the installation of a portable dock that can be anchored to the existing pilings of a former dock that was once located near the lighthouse.
