The Tinicum Rear Range Lighthouse Society has a lease agreement with the Coast Guard to manage the lighthouse. The Coast Guard still maintains the active optic. The lantern in this lighthouse has only one pane of glass; the light shines in one direction only. Tower Height: 83 Height of Focal Plane: 112 Characteristic and Range: Fixed red. Description of Tower: Hexagonal, pyramidal skeletal tower with central cylinder.
