This is the oldest surviving screwpile lighthouse from the Chesapeake Bay. It was moved to Pier 5 in Baltimore in 1988. In 1997 the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse became part of the Baltimore Maritime Museum. The Living Classrooms Foundation uses the lighthouse in its educational programs.
