Notes:
This lighthouse replaced an 1858 brick tower onshore. (See separate entry for Sandy Point Light.) The original Fresnel lens was destroyed by vandals in 1980. In 2006, the lighthouse was sold at a government auction for $250,000.

Accessible by boat only. A visitor to this site reports: "This lighthouse is very visible and may be easily photographed from Sandy Point Park in Maryland. We were there yesterday, and it was a great find." Accessible by boat only.
