Tower Height: 16 Height of Focal Plane: 39 Characteristic and Range: Occulting white light, one-second eclipse every 4 seconds; range 12 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White rectangular stone house with unpainted stone trimmings; the words "PORT LA CHAINE" are painted in dark red on one side. The light is shown from a small platform outside the top window on that side of the house.
