Description of Tower: Square, pyramidal steel skeletal tower, upper part enclosed.

The keeper's house on shore near this lighthouse is a historical museum managed by the Cook County Historical Society. Hours: May 25 - October 25, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday; Noon - 5 p.m. Sunday.

Directions:
This lighthouse is on a breakwater near the Cook County Historical Museum on US Route 61.
