Notes:
This is one of two Sand Point Lighthouses in Michigan; the other is in Escanaba. The lighthouse was moved 200 feet inland in 1898. It was replaced by an automated light on a skeletal tower. It is now within the Ojibwa Recreation Area.

Description of Tower: Square brick tower attached to keeper's dwelling, with white lantern.
