Notes:
This lighthouse is the oldest brick lighthouse on the Great Lakes. The lighthouse is now open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for those who want to climb to the top of the tower. There is a small donation of $2 for adults, $1 for children. Children must be at least 36 inches to climb. Season in 2006 is June through August.

Directions:
Follow Silver Lake Road towards Lake Michigan. Continue as the road becomes more narrow. Follow for about 0.5 mile to a parking area. The lighthouse is a short distance away, past some sand dunes.
