Notes:
The Katwijk Lighthouse, built in 1605, replaced a "vierboet" (lighted beacon) that had been standing for many years. It was declared a national monument in 1971. The lighthouse can be visited Monday to Friday in July and August. Height of Focal Plane: 82 Characteristic and Range: Fixed white. Description of Tower: White, square stone tower.
