Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Grand Manan Island is accessible via a daily ferry departing from Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick, to North Head, Grand Manan. For information contact Coastal Transport Ltd. For arrivals & departures call (506) 662-3606; inquiries (506) 662-3724. The schedule is also available at www.grandmanannb.com/ferry.htm To reach the lighthouse, turn left when leaving the ferry area at North Head, then turn right at Whistle Road and drive about 4 km.
