The 1883 Point Lookout Lighthouse Station in Scotland, Maryland has been fully restored. However, the lighthouse will remain closed to the public until the exhibits and displays can be installed.
The lighthouse is owned by the State of Maryland, who funded the restoration, and is part of Point Lookout State Park. Following are photos of the restored interior of the lighthouse. Enjoy. (Photos courtesy Kim Hammond of the Point Lookout Lighthouse Preservation Society)
