The Delaware Breakwater Lighthouse, also known as the Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse, or the Lewes Breakwater Lighthouse, is getting a major facelift.
Located in Lewes, Delaware, the 1885 lighthouse is owned by the State of Delaware. The painting project was administered by the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs. The breakwater was off-limits during the work. The cost of the exterior restoration project was not disclosed.
