U.S. Lighthouse Society Takes Over Point Wilson Lighthouse

Under the terms of a long term lease, the historic Point Wilson Light Station in Port Townsend, Washington has now been turned over to the nonprofit U.S. Lighthouse Society.

The U.S. Lighthouse Society plans to restore the light station and open it for public tours. It is estimated that it will cost over $800,000 to restore the buildings.
