This past September 22nd, the New England Lighthouse Lovers (NELL) donated $4,600 to the West Quoddy Head Light Keepers Association (WQHLKA). The funds came in the form of a grant awarded for $4,100 for the purchase of a museum quality display case or cases, and the purchase of a U.S. Lighthouse Service reproduction keeper’s jacket and hat to be displayed at their museum in the Visitors Center at the lighthouse, and a $500 donation toward WQHLKA’s general fund.
