The Loxahatchee River Historical Society, the nonprofit that manages the 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse in Jupiter, Florida, has received a $24,000 donation from the nonprofit Florida Lighthouse Association (FLA) to help pay for the $150,000 painting project to take place this autumn at the 1860 lighthouse.

Earlier this year, the Loxahatchee River Historical Society received a $100,000 donation from the football legend Joe Namath Foundation and the family of developer Charles Modica.
