Sambro’s Last Keeper's House Gone

According to the Sambro Island Lighthouse Heritage Society, the last of the storm damaged keeper’s dwellings at Canada’s 1760 Sambro Island Light Station needed to come down, and another slice of Canadian lighthouse has shamefully slipped away. The society said on their Facebook page that they have a lot of work ahead to make the island the best that they can for the future. (Photos courtesy Sambro Island Lighthouse Heritage Society.)
