The Sea Girt Lighthouse in Sea Girt, New Jersey was established in 1896 and it has been owned since 1956 by the Borough of Sea Girt. In 1981 the Sea Girt Lighthouse Citizens Committee Inc. was formed and granted a lease to restore and manage the lighthouse.
