As shown in these photos by Nancy Patterson, New Jersey’s 1849 East Point Lighthouse is well on its way back to its former glory with Phase II of its restoration well under way. At the time these photos were taken a pump had been installed in the basement to finally keep it dry, exterior bricks were being cleaned and prepped for repointing and plaster walls were being prepped and evaluated for repairs.
We congratulate and thank all of those who have worked so hard for so many years to make this a reality.
